ApproachChris' wedding photography is relaxed and informal. He works unobtrusively to capture not just the events but also the mood and atmosphere of the day. Chris looks to provide a photographic record of the whole wedding but is guided by you regarding your precise requirements. Chris' light touch comes from the belief that the photography should not take over the wedding day. It is a wedding, a celebration and not a photo shoot after all. If the wedding becomes a photo-shoot the tail is wagging the dog. Chris looks to take relaxed and "candid" photographs where possible as well as doing as many or as few "formal" photographs as requested. He looks to capture all aspects of the day, from details of dresses, bouquets, cakes and table decorations to the traditional family groups. Chris is one of a diminishing number of photographers who work exclusively with film, personally hand processing his own black and white film in a number of specialist developers. Film has such a wonderful depth and character, it looks "real". It just has a quality about it that digital lacks. |
