Enormous care is taken to make sure that prints are perfectly, beautifully made. Chris hand prints all black and white prints on the finest exhibition quality fibre based papers. All are processed to archival standards, air dried and toned to enhance appearance and archival stability.

A good range of superb quality black and white papers are available, each with its own characteristics. Chris take great care to choose both the paper and the processing chemistry that will best compliment the image.

Colour work over 10"x 8" is hand also printed.

The quality of printing is of the best available and far outperforms machine prints. They are in a totally different league to anything generated digitally.

Liquid Emulsion Prints

Liquid emulsion prints are one of Chris' specialities. The technique involves brush coating heavy weight cotton rag papers with photographic emulsion. The print is then made in the normal way. The inherent imperfections of this technique produce beautiful, unpredictable and unrepeatable results. Every print is a unique piece.

Framing

All prints are framed to the highest possible standards using only the finest materials. All prints are mounted on museum quality cotton rag boards. A range of frames are available. All are glazed with Denglass Water White glass, a specially imported anti-reflective glass. It is wonderful stuff.
